Overview

Mumbai has grown as a city through the contributions of every community across the religious spectrum but few have made an impact as much as the Zoroastrians. Originally from Iran, the 65,000 strong have, over the years, have carved out an image for themselves.

During this Half Day Experience we will take a trip that aims at exploring the lives, cuisine, faith and people that help constitute this illusive community. We will also explore the symbolism and religious practices that have over the years influenced today’s Abrahamic Religions and Hinduism.

Open to people of all faiths with an aim to help promote Cultural Understanding, we will engage though pragmatic discussions and if need be, on prior notice and subject to availability, we will also organize a meet with a Zoroastrian priest.

You will also understand the difference between a Zoroastrian and a Parsee.
